A Certified Fair Price Quotation receives robust review and analysis by our quantity surveyors to ensure the price is equitable and balanced, fair to the client and contractor. Fair price often reflects current market value rather than the absolute lowest price.
How does it work?
Client-commissioned
A client receives quotations and wants to assess whether a quoted price is fair. The client engages KiwiQS for a review. KiwiQS conducts a preliminary review and contacts the contractor for more information. The assessment outcome is reported back to the client.
Contractor-commissioned
A contractor prepares a quotation and wants to have it certified as a fair price quotation. They send in the quotation and the workings (clear calculations). Our quantity surveyors review and analyse the workings. The outcome is either a certification issued or more actions needed to achieve fair pricing.
How do you identify a genuine certification from KiwiQS?
Our genuine certification trademark always comes with a unique certification code. Each certification will be assigned a unique code. It is a condition of the certification. Please let us know if you receive a quotation stamped with our Certification trademark without a unique code. Or, if you wish to check the validity of the unique code, please email us.
